International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code - Webcast
In this five-hour course you will learn how to prepare dangerous goods for shipment by vessel using the International Maritime Organization's IMDG Code. Using the IMDG Dangerous Goods List, you will learn how to classify, package, mark, label, and placard dangerous goods for vessel shipment. You will also learn how to identify marine pollutants and prepare transport documents.
Per competent authority reference, IMO requires initial training and recurrent training every three years in the U.S. This course meets both initial and recurrent training requirements. Transportation of Dangerous Goods
is included as a downloadable document. The IMDG Code is available for purchase.
