Under EPA’s New Chemicals Program, anyone who plans to manufacture or import a new chemical substance for a non-exempt commercial purpose is required to provide the EPA with a Pre-Manufacture Notice (PMN).
EPA’s Inventory Report Rule requires chemical manufacturers and importers to update TSCA inventory data with the EPA every five years using a Form U. The report must include the identity of, and certain manufacturing information for, organic chemical substances manufactured or imported annually in quantities of 25,000 pounds or more.
In this webcast, you’ll learn how to identify which of your substances are subject to and which are exempt from PMNs, how to develop successful PMNs, and how to complete the Form U.
The coursebook is included as a downloadable document.
To participate in this live training, all you need is Internet access, a web browser running the latest version of Flash and a phone.
There are no courses scheduled this year. If you have several students that could benefit from this course, contact Amy Knight at aknight@ercweb.com to obtain a quote for a session tailored for your needs.
