California Hazardous Waste and DOT Refresher Training - Webcast

This course is the perfect way to meet both your California Title 22 hazardous waste and DOT 49 CFR 172.704 (c)(2) hazardous material recurrent training requirements in one day.


At this refresher course, you will learn effective procedures for compliance with the latest hazardous waste and hazardous material transport regulations, including how to:

  • Determine which wastes are classified as EPA and California hazardous waste
  • Determine what’s regulated as hazardous materials by DOT
  • Comply with recent and pending changes in hazardous waste and DOT classifications
  • Properly manage hazardous wastes at accumulation points and satellite accumulation points
  • Determine when you must apply for a tiered permit
  • Comply with VOC emission control requirements
  • Prepare hazardous waste manifests and DOT bills of lading
  • Manage universal waste, used oil, and other special wastes
  • Select, fill, and close packages of hazardous waste and hazardous materials
  • Mark and label hazardous material packages and hazardous waste containers
  • Load, unload, and placard vehicles
